Long-time Professor Bruce Hamilton Caps 50-year Run

This semester Bruce Hamilton, a member of our department since 1973, taught his final course. Over his 51 years at JHU, he taught approximately 17,000 students and employed 500 TAs, the majority in the Elements of Microeconomics class that he taught annually. These are Johns Hopkins records by large margins, and are about as likely to be broken as Cal Ripken’s consecutive-games streak. Congratulations on a wonderful career, Bruce!
