The Department of Economics seeks to fill four faculty positions at different ranks.

Associate or Full Kaye Professor of Applied Microeconomics

We seek to fill a faculty position for Fall 2022 at the tenured Associate Professor or Full Professor rank in Applied Microeconomics. We seek applicants whose research focuses on health economics, urban economics, the economics of inequality, labor economics, or public economics more generally.

Open-rank search for faculty focused on political economy

This position is a joint appointment between the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Agora Institute and the Department of Economics. This is an open-rank search for faculty in any discipline (with a particular focus on economics) who focus on questions of political economy, with particular attention to scholars whose work focuses on the economic forces shaping, interacting with (including resulting from), making possible, or challenging the realization of pluralistic democracy in global contexts and the U.S. We are particularly interested in scholars who do work related to climate change.

whose research focuses on empirical work in the field of Industrial Organization.

Assistant Professor, focus on international economics

We seek to fill a faculty position for Fall 2022 at the tenure-track Assistant Professor rank. We seek applicants whose research focuses on international economics. We will pay special attention to candidates in international trade and development but also welcome applicants in international macroeconomics and finance.
