E.P.I.C. Event on Long-term Impacts of COVID-19 unemployment

The Economic Policy Issues Colloquium (E.P.I.C.) held an event titled “Impact of Unemployment on Life Expectancy and Mortality during COVID.” on November 10. Francesco Bianchi, Louis J. Maccini Professor of Economics at Johns Hopkins University, gave a presentation on his work studying the long-term impact on mortality and life expectancy rates resulting from pandemic unemployment.
