Michael Keane joins JHU

Michael Keane has joined Johns Hopkins University as the Wm. Polk Carey Distinguished Professor.  He holds a primary appointment at the Carey Business School and has a joint appointment with the Department of Economics.

Professor Keane is a leading expert on choice modeling and life-cycle modeling. He has a wide range of research interests including labor economics, econometrics, health economics, and education with many influential articles published in the Journal of Political Economy, Econometrica, American Economic Review, and in many other top journals. Currently, he is conducting research on health shocks and earning dynamics, weak instruments, labor supply and taxes.
