Visiting Faculty to Teach Undergraduate Econometrics and Labor Economics in Fall 2013
The Economics Department is pleased to announce that two outstanding visitors to the Department in Fall 2013 will teach Undergraduate Econometrics (Economics 334) and Labor Economics (Economics 351).
Dr. Berna Demiralp, a 2006 Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins, will teach Economics 334. Dr. Demiralp is an expert at statistical methods and has extensive teaching experience in such courses.
Dr. Priyanka Anand, a recent Ph.D. from Yale University who wrote her dissertation in Labor Economics, will teach Economics 351. Dr. Anand is currently conducting policy-related labor economics research in Washington, DC and will use her knowledge to bring a special policy-related focus to the course.
We welcome Dr. Demiralp and Dr. Anand to the Department for the Fall.
